Holosko cemetery - the largest cemetery in the modern city Lviv. Located in the northwest part of town (Holosko, Shevchenkivskyy region), near Bryuhovitskyy forest.

Area: 74,8 hectares.
Address: 79059, Lviv, Mykolaychuk str. 42.

In the early 1980's because of lack of land for burial in Lviv in the cemetery started to build crematorium. Later frozen in connection with the 1990 crisis and the inadmissibility of the ritual body burning for “Christian values of the population of Lviv”.Prior to 2004 in the cemetery area was buried over 63 thousand people. Holosko cemetery - one of three cemeteries in the city that are open for burials (as of 2007).
